This month we invite you to join us in reflecting on the powerful role of community as a space and place for belonging… EPP is a global community of folx with a shared vision of freeing people - all over the world - from the prisons of our own making. We are on a mission to understand why we do what we do, using the Enneagram to inspire transformation - on both sides of the bars - through self-awareness, self-regulation, and self-compassion. We quite literally do the work together, in community and relationship with each other. The work of growth and development is never complete. We are always meeting ourselves, and each other, on the path, again and again. Rooted in a foundation of love, compassion, and unconditional positive regard, EPP invites each of us to take our seat in community with one another, and experience the wholeness, sacredness, preciousness, beauty, clarity, awakeness, freedom, and aliveness that is accessible when we stay connected to our shared humanity. With presence, we are reminded that everything belongs. Everything is sacred. Everything is already whole. Thank you for choosing to be here. Thank you for knowing that you belong. EPP Canada is here! On July 1, 2022, which happened to be Canada Day, EPP Canada formally received status as a registered charity!
Every prison, every jail, everywhere...In addition to EPP’s US based charity, we also have registered charity status in Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, and the United Kingdom. And they are launched! 45 folx began EPP's Guide Training Program on September 14, including 15 participants in our first French-speaking GTP cohort! EPP Programming is back on the inside! EPP has expanded our in-custody programming from 8 institutions in 2 states and 3 countries before the pandemic to 19 institutions in 4 states and 4 countries, including the following new facilities in 2022: Cook County Jail in Chicago, Illinois; California Women’s Facility in Chowchilla, California; Sterling Correctional Facility in Sterling, Colorado; and the Pine Grove Women’s Correctional Facility in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada. EPP Community Builders bring their hearts! EPP Builders from around the globe are contributing their time, heart, and energy to support our global vision. Global Community Builders are actively supporting in all aspects of EPP's collective growth and development, including translation, program outcomes, administration, organizational development, guide support and well-being, and more. On the road...EPP Founder and Human Potentialist Susan Olesek and EPP Executive Director Rick Olesek visited our EPP Global families in the United Kingdom, France, and Belgium this summer. During their visit, they joined EPP Guides in Belgium and France for a class on the inside.
On August 24 - 27, EPP celebrated 10 years of transforming lives and growing community with an in-person gathering at Lake Don Pedro in California. It was an epic few days sweating, laughing, and communing together! Susan Olesek: The Power of the EnneagramFeatured on Elise Loehnen’s podcast, pulling the thread, Susan Olesek unfolds the power of the Enneagram, and EPP’s compassionate approach to understanding self and others.
