Understanding Self and Others Through EPP's Compassionate Curriculum

June 1 through July 20 2025, Sundays 1 - 4 pm PT

EPP's foundational Enneagram course, 9PrisonsONEKey, introduces our compassionate approach, which starts with what is "right" about us. The coursework provides the opportunity to come away with a deeper and more compassionate understanding of why "we do what we do" by recognizing personality as an intelligent survival system learned in childhood and carried into adulthood in ways that can be both productive and self-limiting. Participants will come away empowered with the important knowledge of self-knowing, which creates opportunities for greater self-awareness, self-regulation, and self-compassion.

9PrisonsONEKey (9P1K) is the first program in EPP’s Training Program, and a component of how we train potential “guides” to teach EPP’s compassionate curriculum in prisons and jails around the world. While 9P1K is open to all who are interested in deepening their understanding of self and others through a progressive unfolding of EPP’s compassionate curriculum, please note that it is a prerequisite for those who wish to apply to EPP’s Guide Training Program, regardless of previous Enneagram training, certifications, or background.

At EPP one of our core values is that we do the work together.

At EPP we are building compassionate community to do the work together. Hundreds of people have graduated 9P1k this year and we are adding to our community every day!

We know the importance of a compassionate community and a safe space to this deep work required for transformation. We also know that the Enneagram is for everyone. With this in mind, we have decided to bring our course curriculum previously taught “on the inside” to the public domain.

9PrisonsONEKey (9P1K) is EPP’s comprehensive, foundational approach to the Enneagram. 9P1K is being offered virtually to participants from around the globe. Facilitated by EPP Guides, 9P1K illuminates how we are all in a prison of our own making in the ways that we suffer our personality, and makes clear that we all hold the key to our freedom.

9P1K is a 45-hour training program.

The Enneagram is an incisive self-awareness tool for personal transformation and spiritual growth. For those who have studied the Enneagram of Personality, we know that it provides a clear roadmap to understanding why we do the things we do.

At EPP we begin our journey of self-discovery with the fundamental approach that there is nothing wrong with you, and that each of us is already whole. Using the Enneagram as a systematic map of nine essential qualities to remember what is right about us, we learn to see the patterned ways in which we are so self-forgetting.

9PrisonsONEKey is an 8-week LIVE virtual zoom course. Your registration includes the following:

8 x Live Zoom sessions facilitated by an THP Guide Practitioner and EPP Ambassador co-pilot;
Access to THP's Learning Management System, which includes recorded video content, exercises, journal reflections, and more; and
Access to THP's SLACK workspace for sharing, processing, and connecting before, during, and after the course.

9PrisonsONEKey is a prerequisite for EPP's next course, Path to Freedom. Participants are required to attend a minimum of seven of the eight live zoom sessions in order to register for Path to Freedom.

Interested in becoming an EPP Guide?
9P1K is the first course in the pathway to become an EPP Guide. Those interested in applying to EPP's Guide Training Program (GTP) are required to take 9PrisonsONEKey, Path to Freedom, and THP's Instincts & Triads as a prerequisite for applying to GTP.
Attendance in all 9P1K sessions, including small group debriefs/breakouts is required for those who wish to apply for Path to Freedom.
